What Not To Bring To The Big House For Manchester United vs. Real Madrid

ANN ARBOR (CBS Detroit) – Headed to the big game at the Big House this Saturday? Be sure to leave the vuvuzelas at home.

With strict security measures in place, the 109,000 fans expected to attend are encouraged to bring only necessary items to Michigan Stadium when Manchester United faces Real Madrid as part of the 2014 Guinness International Champions Cup.

Suites and Club Level areas open two and one-half hours prior to kick-off. Suite and Club Level ticket holders may access these areas at that time through their designated entrances on the east and west sides of the stadium. All other gates open two hours before kick-off — please plan to arrive within the first hour. All items carried to the stadium are subject to search.

Here’s a complete list of prohibited items:

  • All bottles (including all types of water bottles)
  • Flags and flagpoles
